We know there are other dance studios in Las Vegas, but we believe DanceCenter has more to offer you than any other studio in town. We pride ourselves in having qualified instructors and staff. Everyone works together to help each new student feel at home. Check out what some of our students have to say.
Last Christmas my husband surprised me with dance lessons at DanceCenter. Best Christmas gift EVER!! We have had so much fun taking classes and going to the different parties. Our teenage daughter saw how much fun we had and started taking classes also. All the teachers are great! Looking forward to another great year dancing at DanceCenter!

When I enter a dance studio, I leave my problems at the door. For that period of time I'm on the dance floor, my mind is free of my concerns.

I started dancing to lose weight two years ago. Since then I have lost 47 pounds and 49 inches. I went from a size 18 to a 12. Dancing is one of the best types of exercise to do because you are not only learning new dances, but you are also dancing the weight off. I'm the happiest I've ever been!

I decided to start taking Salsa dance lessons when I turned 30. Being a single woman with an intense career I thought it might be good for my physical and emotional well-being to get out of my usual social circles. Beyond having the time of my life, I also met the man of my dreams! Needless to say, I am a strong advocate for group classes. And now that he and I are engaged to be married, we've also started taking private lessons to prepare for our big day. I can honestly say that learning to Salsa changed my life! I would recommend dance classes to anyone who wants to try something new and just have fun."

Although I was nervous taking my first step into the dance studio, once I got started, my teacher made me feel quite at ease and soon I was having the time of my life. Finding the right teacher is the key to making dancing fun and easy for anyone.

We have absolutely loved getting ready for our first dance for our wedding. Learning to dance together has brought us even closer than we thought we could ever be. We're so excited to surprise our friends and family by showing off our new moves on the dance floor! I can't wait to see the look on their faces. We look forward to continuing lessons and learning more dances!"

In January of last year my husband and I decided to take a brief but luxurious vacation, but we were unsure where we wanted to go. Having done the "all expense paid" weekend trips in the past, we knew we wanted to do more than just lounge by a pool and drink with the college crowd. Fortunately, Carrie told us about a ballroom dance trip she was orchestrating in Cozumel. My husband and I had only been taking classes for a few weeks and were a little intimidated by the thought of clumsily dancing the nights away amongst people who had been training for so much longer than we had. But after some thought, and some discussions with Carrie and her team, we decided to take the plunge. It was THE BEST mini-vacation we have ever taken! Not only were we able to confidently dance with amateurs and professionals alike, but we also had plenty of time to sit by the pool and partake in fruitie-tuttie drinks. (With grown-ups this time. :-) It is a trip we hope to do again this year. So, Carrie, when do we leave?"

So, for years my husband would drag me all season long to one football party after another. While I found these gatherings fun, it was often about a bunch of people watching TV together and eating. So I had an idea... I would trade him a season of football BBQs for a season of ballroom dance lessons. After a little persuasion on my part, he agreed. Now, two years later, we are taking classes year round--his idea! We have just loved Carrie's instruction and are thrilled to be taking classes at her new studio. Best of luck, Carrie!

A year ago, my girlfriend decided to celebrate completing her first five years as a teacher by treating herself to a summer in Puerto Rico. Prior to her trip, she signed up for some private salsa lessons. (She didn't want to appear the gringo to all the locals.) Carrie must have gotten her up to par very quickly, because my friend called me a week into the trip ranting about the long caribbean nights she was spending dancing. She had so much fun that she has decided to go back again next year, and I have decided to join her! I am excited to say that I just had my first private lesson at DanceCenter. OMG - Soooo much fun. Look out Puerto Rico!

I had been taking ballroom dance lessons for about a year and a half, then reached a point where I didn't feel that I was improving as a dancer, and noticed that as a result, my enthusiasm for dance was waning. I knew that I still loved ballroom dancing and wanted to improve, so I went on a search for a solution.
I knew Carrie from another dance studio, but despite this, I never danced with her. But I always felt that she was a great dancer, and had a certain special quality to her. So, I stopped into DanceCenter and talked to her about dance and where I was at, and left feeling that she totally understood me, and things were going to be different.
From the very beginning, I knew I had made an excellent decision. My enthusiasm for dance has returned; I am excited about my lessons again; and, most importantly, I feel that my dancing skill and confidence has improved markedly. In addition, I have met some new people that I really like, including Carrie's staff-who are simply outstanding as well.
I am confident that you will find DanceCenter to be a great experience-you will learn to dance from great instructors, you will meet great new people, attend great parties and workshops, and just have the time of your life.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at the DanceCenter! All the instructors, to include Carrie, Anne, and Andre are enthusiastic, professional, and very experienced, with very impressive backgrounds in ballroom dance and dance instruction.
The private and group classes are always enjoyable and you leave feeling like you learned to dance the right way. The main dance floor is big and perfect for group lessons and dance parties. There always seems to be a great selection of classes and a very even mix of ladies and men to practice with.
What's more fun is that they play music to practice with that I've found myself singing long after class is over! And if, you are like my soul mate, my wife (who I met at a ballroom dance party) and I, they let you practice together if you want during the group lessons. The other dance floor is more intimate and great for couples for private lessons, i.e. wedding dances, etc.
The prices for the classes are not only very reasonable for the valley, but is a great value for what you get. Great location and nice building, too. I'm glad that I go to the DanceCenter and plan on going back again and again.

A year ago my girlfriend introduced me to DanceCenter. It has been one of the best experiences of my life. Besides learning to dance, I have met some wonderful people. The staff at DanceCenter are so talented and fun. I look forward to my lesson and group classes each week. Thank you DanceCenter for a fabulous year!

Hands down, DanceCenter is Las Vegas' premier studio for aspiring dancers like me. I have been regularly attending classes for about three months now and have progressed a lot in that time. This is a real, unsolicited and uncompensated endorsement, because I want everyone to know that if you want to learn to dance, or if you are already and intermediate to advanced level student, you will be happy with your choice to enroll at DanceCenter.
Here's the skinny: The facility is clean, well lit, warm, and inviting. The instructors (all of them) are gracious, talented, and professional. They allow the classes to be fun, but stay on track to teach the proper movements and encourage all students to improve. The students are diverse and come from all age ranges and backgrounds, but more importantly, the students all share an optimism and enthusiasm to learn to dance. We all help and support each other. There is no cliquishness here. When a new person joins the program they are afforded the same help and friendship as they integrate into the class. Studio owner, Carrie Cone, is a class act. She is a genuinely kind person and an awesome instructor. If you are looking for a studio to get started in, or are considering changing studios in favor of a professional but still fun culture, you will do yourself a huge favor by calling or coming down to introduce yourself to Carrie or one of her fabulous staff and enrolling as a team member at DanceCenter Las Vegas.
P.S. I like the studio so much that I also enrolled my daughters in their Kids Ballet/Jazz class. It's so much better (and more fun for them) than the one they were taking before. :-)
